When people cross over into the spirit world, regardless of the type of life they led, they are taken into a heavenly place. What happens to them there, depending upon what they have done on Earth, varies with each soul. I know my friends who ascribe to more doctrinal spiritual beliefs will not be interested in this text, and I am not going to encourage those of you who feel you fit that category to read this. It is not my intent to challenge or proselytize here; I'm just reviewing a book in a very self-centered sort of way. In the modern West, reincarnation has a positive flavour as a desirable alternative to the traditional Western afterlife. But the Indian traditions all agree it is the ultimate horror — their aim is to escape from it. Great book. Very enlightening, though not as good as his first, Journey of Souls. In my view, even when the regression system is rigorous, that doesn't guarantee useful understandings. There was also for me new information about the birthing of souls. Here is a quote: "My soul was created out of a great irregular cloudy mass. I was expelled as a tiny particle of energy from this intense, pulsating bluish, yellow and white light...." The new souls are taken care of by special helpers and given the "love hug". The soul is brought to an awareness of its existence. Each soul is unique. Are there any keys to understanding life and how to live it that you have gleaned from your study of life between lives? Speaking about the purpose on earth, one case study you offer in Destiny of Souls explores the idea that perhaps our purpose in coming to Earth is to unify all humans and all races and all nationalities.
A fun read much like "Destiny of Souls". Not to be taken seriously but still a lot of fun to think about "What if?". Loved this book! Amazing insights of people under hypnosis of a place between each life incarnation! Fascinating even if you don't believe in that kinda of thing! ;)You could go around the universe and look at young, middle-aged and old worlds and say, “Well, I wonder if the souls have now moved?” What I understand from my clients is that this is absolutely true. I’ve had clients who have been on worlds that have gone into nova. They say they were young souls when they went there, and by the time it became uninhabitable, they had to move. Then the question was, where would they move to? I liked the book for the most part, I'm just confused about many things to do with "Heaven" now. I believe a lot of what he has written can be true and I found the people to be very interesting as well. I did find the writer to be a bit boring at times though. Destiny of Souls is an excellent book to really dive into the Between Lives experience. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for answers to what happens next after this life, and even more importantly, what happened right before you came into this lifetime. Those who watched this show about life after death may remember one of my clients, by the name of Colleen, who spoke about a session we had together. My subject saw over a hundred people who came to celebrate her return. A time and place she had loved was lavishly reproduced so Colleen could begin the process of renewal in style. One of the ways in which we can deal with evil is to think, especially with these horrible serial killers, that they were born that way, that a satanic force may have occupied the mind of this person even before they came into their bodies. I think that’s a way of preserving our humanity and it absolves ourselves of responsibility. We’re talking about the Hitlers of this world. People ask me about this, using Hitler as an example, because he certainly is the personification of evil in the 20th century.
