About this deal

It has five internal magazines that each hold three Rival Rounds and has a spinning loading system that rotates and grabs ammo from each consecutive chamber. One reason Hades is so big and heavy is because of the increased magazine capacity. The magazines in the Nerf Hades are all non-removable long tubes. Opening the Hades magazines Rate of Fire: These blasters can unload an insane amount of rounds every second. Some of which can fire up to 9 balls per second! Let’s start with dessert. This Perses greatest perk is its fire rate. It can shoot an insane eight rounds per second! That means a full hopper of 50 rounds can be emptied in about 6 seconds. If you are empty and load just one magazine it dry fire the first few rounds as the Ferris wheel will be empty. So if you only have time to load say six rounds, put two into each magazine and you’ll be able to fire six consecutive rounds without dry-firing.

This blaster only has one color scheme (Edge Series) and is a Walmart Exclusive, so you can only buy it in Walmart stores. Jupiter Performance The Prometheus is intense. It fires eight rounds per second, making it one of the fastest firing Rival series blasters—right behind the Perses. The Artemis XVII-3000 is named after Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon, and archery. Artemis is also the twin sister of Apollo, which the Apollo XV-700 was named after. For its size, it holds an impressive 30 Rival Rounds in its three internal magazines. These magazines can’t be removed, but they are a breeze to load. Rival Blasters target an older audience (14 years and up) due to their power and unique ammo type. While these blasters are generally safe, it’s wise to wear goggles to protect your eyes during play. When first launched, Rival blasters were not allowed in Australia because they didn’t meet local toy safety standards, emphasizing their power and intended audience. Sub SeriesThe Rival Artemis comes out of the box completely assembled, and because it’s spring-powered there isn’t even the need to add batteries. Just load up and go.

As of 2023, there are 38 released Rival blasters on the market, with more being added every year. There are also four sub-series with unique color schemes: Camo Series, Curve Shot, Edge Series, and Phantom Series. Final Thoughts The blaster is a single semi-auto fire, and the trigger allows a crisp feeling while firing. Key featuresThe blaster is also ambidextrous, so left-handed players can also enjoy this little monster. Perses Performance The Perses is a battery-powered flywheel-type blaster. It has a unique and compact hopper that can hold up to 50 high-impact Rival Rounds. However, the hopper also means you can’t shoot this gun inverted. No Matrix flips or hanging upside down from trees. But that’s not all. One of my favorite features of this Nerf gun is the included rechargeable NiMH battery. The money you’ll save from buying batteries will pay for this blaster in no time. The Jupiter is quite powerful and launches Rival Rounds at an average of 90 feet per second and has a range of about 100 feet. The first and most important difference is the ammo type. Nerf Rival uses their branded High-Impact Rival Rounds—which are essentially little foam balls. These balls are quite impressive and brilliantly designed for three reasons.

It has a rather small ammo capacity, only holding five Rival Rounds in its internal magazine. However, in my testing, I was able to cram six rounds in without any feeding issues. Edge: Focused on precision and target shooting, the Edge sub-series features blasters with a lime-green color scheme. The loading tube features a sort of a one-way entrance – or easy in, not so easy out entrance. This ensures that if you tip the blaster over you are not going to see 29 (it always happens then) balls rolling off under the couch. While unboxing, you can see that this gun comes with a fully assembled design, and it is not the same as the other guns. This strong Nerf gun is recommended for kids from the age of 14+.It has enough ammo that you are unlikely to run out in a single melee and it is easier to reload than it is to reload a magazine (especially the one like the Khaos!) as you can top it up from a dump pouch pretty fast while in cover. Plus you can still leave a few shots in the chamber so you are not entirely defenseless. The fixed magazine is actually really well thought out too. Yes, you cannot swap it out in the way you can with a mag fed blaster, but I rarely found this an issue. Rate of fire on this blaster depends on the user, but in my testing, I was able to spew off all five rounds in four seconds, which is about 1.25 rounds per second. As with all Rival models, the Artemis is available in a choice of red or blue, with the intention being that your weapon’s colour denotes which side you’re on. It’s quite a nice idea as long as you’re always on the same side – otherwise you’ll need to buy one in each colour, eh? This lean and mean monster is spring-powered, has a good-sized ammo capacity, and can be slam fired for an almost full auto experience Artemis Features

Thirdly, you can take advantage of their shape to accomplish cool aerodynamic feats—such as spinning the ball and curving shots, like the Rival Curve Shot Sideswipe (the last gun on this list). One of the most important improvements to the Rival Hades is the increased magazine capacity. Unlike the Artemis, which has a 30-round magazine, the Rival Hades brings it up to 60 rounds. Each weapon is named after a Greek Titan, God, or Goddess. How much cooler can Rival get? FAQ Do Nerf Rival Guns Hurt? The Nerf Rival series, first introduced in 2015, was designed to provide high-performance blasters for competitive team-based play. With the Apollo XV-700 and Zeus MXV-1200 as the first blasters in the series, the Rival series (officially spelled in all caps as RIVAL) offers a new level of excitement and intensity for older kids and adults. The front part is a Rival blaster with a chunky design. On the top, there is a front iron sight and tactical rail with an integrated access door.Apart from the gun itself, the Jupiter has a detachable bipod you can go prone or mount up and stabilize your shots. The Rival Hades has a single fire and a slam fire feature. Like many other Nerf blasters, the Rival Hades is a spring-powered pump-action blaster and belongs to the Phantom Corps category.
